Accidental Holiday
Ever take a holiday and get that weird feeling the next day that you where the only one off? Yea… that sucks. I walked into the office today and noticed that I had voice mail (not all the unusal after a weekend). I opened Lotus Notes and noticed that I had quite a few unread emails (pretty unusual, even following a weekend). It didn’t hit me till I listened to my first voicmail message and it was from my boss asking where I was. CRAP!
I decided that I needed to make a confessions so I headed into his office. Before I even got down the chair he was laughing at me. Apparently he thought it was funny that I had taken a holiday on a day the company was supposed to be working, and here I thought I was going to get reprimanded. I guess it really does help to have a cool manager.
