Back from Houston
After spending all of last week in Houston, Texas I am back in Ohio. The trip lasted a bit longer than I had expected, due mainly to meetings running over, but was overall an excellent experience. It is really great to get to meet people you work with on a daily basis but normally wouldn’t see due to geographical constraints. It was also nice to get a little networking in with some very important people.
As far as personal things go about the only two things that I got in where attending a service at a Mormon church and a trip to the Johnson space center. The space center was really neat, I got to take a tour of the old and new mission control centers and the shuttle mockup area. Perhaps the most amazing part of all the tours was the fact that they had a Longhorn cattle ranch on the space center grounds (wish I would have got a photo of that), it was very clear that I was in Texas!
