*YAWN* What a Nice Nap

Boy, the two readers of this blog must think that I died or something. Considering that my last post was just about two months ago thats a pretty reasonable conclusion. What really happened is far less spectacular however, I was busy, and because busy is a really crappy excuse the real reason is that I was lazy.

It does feel good to be back, the experience was like that of a walk down memory lane and hitting the intersection of memory lane and elm street. I am indeed back, I purged all my in-process posts that I have forgotten to write and emptied the spam that Akismnet missed, I’m ready for another go at blogging. To my two readers I apologize for the length of this post, I’m summing up two months here!

So what has happened in the past two months? I can say that the summer has been quite eventful. The parents are now settled into Indiana and I to Akron, I have yet to get pictures of either house but rest assured, as soon as I do it will be on Flickr. Speaking of Indiana, both of my sisters now have jobs (and its about darned time!). Michelle works at a local (to Indiana) grocery store in the flower shop and seems to like it, she makes some quite nice bouquets. Randi has followed in my footsteps and is working at Circut City. I just got back from spending a long weekend with them and it was nice to harrass them at work! I feel like a proud papa with Randi or is that an old war veteran educating the new troops…. hmmm…

In addition to all this moving Jazz I have started a company with a good friend. I can’t say too much more at this point but some time in the very near future I will tell all!

In other news that I can’t say much about we are working on some really neat stuff at work that is getting pretty close to release ready. I’m really excited at the direction things are going and can’t wait till its public and I can talk about it.

Finally, I need to close on a serious note. You will notice at the bottom of this blog a disclaimer that state that these thoughts are mine and mine alone, you need to read that before you complain. In the past (a few months ago now) people have complained that my posts have somehow hurt them (most likely an ego thing) and have pursued the problem through inappropriate channels which resulted in the “offending” posts being removed. I won’t name names right now (not because I can’t but because I won’t) you know who you are and I am puting a stop to your bull right now. In the future, if you don’t like a post on this blog for some reason or another, there is a comment form, use it. If that is not enough for you, allow me to point you to this document, paragraph one. If that is still not enough for you, this is all I have left to offer. Only under exceptional circumstances will I remove a post people don’t like, and you must prove that I am wrong before I will even consider it. Furthermore, if you think your going to be a wise ass and contact my employers, think twice, you will only be met with hostility (from both me and my employers, we have discussed these issues already). Without further adoe I bid you good night and look forward to ranting on in my blog once again!

  1. Good job posting the Bill of Rights cool guy. Fortunately I have the freedom to not read your blog and to comment and say that I still think you are a “think you’re all that, know it all” moron. But that’s just like my opinion, man!

  2. Calm down man, I’m just re-stating my disclaimer because some lawyers can’t read it or something (yes, somebody was a little ticked off about a few of my entries and sent their lawyers after me). As you stated you have the freedom to not read this blog, and keep in mind that I don’t make any claims that this stuff is useful or even entertaining, thus “The Shallow Thoughts of a Simple Mind.” You will also note that I will not censor your comments ;-)
